Classic car events organized by Maquinas Y Rock & Roll

"Machines and Rock & Roll" was founded in 2008 by a group of enthusiastic friends and lovers of vintage cars and custom culture. Looking for a space to showcase their rescued and restored vintage cars, they organized a gathering in Aguascalientes. The first edition was shaped by the visit of friends from Fresnillo and Zacatecas, who were the first guests, as well as the local support of enthusiasts such as Mr. Pedro Julio Hernández, Mr. Hugo Carrillo, Mr. Luis López Hdz., among others. The event was attended by around 50 people and approximately 20 vehicles.

For the next edition, a larger venue was sought as a larger attendance was anticipated, so the event was moved to the "Plaza de las Tres Centurias," an iconic location in the state. Thanks to all our enthusiastic friends, we had a larger number of participants from neighboring states and a larger influx of visitors. The event was complemented by the exchange and sale of parts and items related to the restoration of antique cars, as well as activities for the whole family. These activities, since their inception, have sought to foster family integration in this love of antique automobiles in our state.

"Maquinas y Rock & Roll" promotes the search, rescue, restoration, preservation, and history of antique automobiles in Mexico, as well as spreading the vintage and custom culture related to automobiles, all in a family-friendly and inclusive environment. An important aspect that has characterized this event is the promotion of artistic groups in all its editions, since music is a fundamental part of Maquinas y Rock & Roll.

Thanks to all the people who have visited this event year after year, we can highlight the presence of more than 25 states, antique car clubs and associations, local and foreign auto parts and accessories vendors, performances by more than 40 bands throughout its history, support for charities, cultural groups, and visitors from across the country.
