THE EVENT OF AUTOMOTIVE CULTURE IN MEXICO

The Motor Show: History and Culture, arises as a response to the constant demand of society to know the history of the automobile in the course of time, since in recent years has seen a considerable increase in the fondness for the old car ; It should be noted that it is a non-profit event and free to the public.

Auto Club Ponce, Local Automobile Association, with more than 25 years of experience and extensive experience in the subject, decides to respond to this demand from 2016, through the design, structuring and presentation of the event called "Auto Show : Art and Culture ", which was carried out jointly with the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico. This union allowed to carry out an event of this kind for the first time in Mexico.

In the year 2018 for its third edition and with the main purpose of spreading the history and culture in motorsport, its name was adapted, being as: Car Show: History and Culture. In this edition, the H. Ayuntamiento de Toluca added efforts to the event, allowing it to take place in the Plaza de los Mártires of the City of Toluca, in order to bring it closer to the population and ensure greater affluence.

The Motor Show: History and Culture, is a world-class event certified by the Fédération Internationale des Véhicules Anciens (FIVA): global non-governmental organization dedicated to the culture, preservation and protection of historic vehicles, considered the highest authority world of old vehicles founded in 1966, with headquarters in Brussels, Belgium, integrated by 75 national federations of the 5 continents and with various international associations of motoring collectibles.

The FIVA organizes and endorses multiple events around the world, for which it establishes a code of requirements for the organizers and when it is fulfilled, it grants a license that guarantees the global quality of the event; in this context, proudly the Motor Show: History and Culture earned its distinction, which allowed the State of Mexico and specifically the City of Toluca, to have an important and representative place in the world's automotive culture .
